Saudi Arabia is alcohol free. Alcohol is illegal for tourists and residents alike. Plan for a dry trip; penalties for possession or consumption are serious.
Official vs assistance service. We are a private agency operated by Travel Rox, Inc. You can also apply on the official portal at visa.visitsaudi.com at a lower cost.
No. SaudieVisa.com is a private visa assistance service operated by Travel Rox, Inc., and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Saudi Arabia. We prepare and review your application for a service fee that is added to the government cost. You are always free to apply directly on the official Saudi eVisa portal at a lower price.
Convenience and peace of mind. We check your passport and photo against Saudi specifications before submission, catch errors that cause delays or rejections, offer processing as fast as 6 hours, and provide dedicated support at every step. It is an optional paid service for travellers who prefer a guided, error-checked application.
Yes. We have processed more than 15,000 Saudi eVisas since 2022 for travellers from over 60 countries. All payments run over a 256-bit SSL encrypted, PCI compliant checkout, and our pricing is all inclusive with no hidden charges. As a private agency we clearly disclose that the official portal is a lower cost option.
Your fee covers expert document and photo review, error prevention, a simplified application experience, real time status tracking, and 24/7 customer support in addition to the government visa fee and mandatory insurance. These are convenience services the official portal does not provide.
The government visa fee is non refundable once paid. Before we submit your application to Saudi authorities, our service fee is refundable in line with our policy; once the application is submitted or the visa is approved, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Our team is available 24/7. Call +1 (415) 800-4485, message WhatsApp +1 707-606-0634, or email [email protected], and we typically reply within about 10 business minutes. You can also open a ticket through our support portal.
Citizens of more than 60 countries can apply for the tourist eVisa entirely online, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, all EU and Schengen states, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and China including Hong Kong and Macau. You can check your country on our eligible countries page. Nationals of countries not on the list must apply through a Saudi embassy.
Yes, most non GCC nationals need a visa to enter Saudi Arabia. If you hold a passport from one of the 60+ eligible countries, you can obtain that visa online as an eVisa instead of visiting an embassy. It is a one year, multiple entry tourist authorization for short visits.
Yes. Residents of the GCC countries (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman) can apply for the eVisa regardless of profession, provided they are 18 or older and hold a valid GCC residence permit and a passport valid at least 6 months. This route is based on your residency rather than your nationality.
In most cases yes, through a visa on arrival rather than the eVisa. Travellers holding a valid and previously used US, UK, or Schengen visa, or valid residence in those regions, can generally obtain a visa at a Saudi entry point. Confirm the current conditions on the official portal before you travel.
Yes. Every traveller needs a separate eVisa regardless of age, including infants and minors recorded on a parent's passport, at the same per person fee. Because applicants must be adults, a parent or guardian completes the application on the child's behalf. You can submit the whole family together.
Apply with, and travel on, the passport of your eligible nationality, and you must arrive in Saudi Arabia on the same passport you used to apply. Your eligibility and visa are tied to that passport, so keep it consistent from application through entry and exit.
The tourist eVisa covers leisure travel and sightseeing, visiting family and friends, attending events, business meetings, and performing Umrah outside the Hajj season. It does not permit paid work, long term study, or Hajj, which require their own visa categories.
A single entry eVisa is valid for 90 days with a stay of up to 90 days and is used for one visit. A multiple entry eVisa is valid for one year and lets you enter as often as you like, with up to 90 days per visit. Choose multiple entry if you plan to return within the year.
You can stay up to 90 days. On a single entry visa that is a single stay of up to 90 days within the 90 day validity; on a multiple entry visa you can stay up to 90 days on each visit across the one year validity. The exact allowance is printed on your issued visa.
No. The tourist eVisa is strictly for tourism, family visits, events, business meetings, and Umrah. Paid employment and long term study are not allowed and require a dedicated work or study visa sponsored inside Saudi Arabia.
No, the tourist eVisa cannot be extended. If you need to stay longer than your visa allows, you must exit the country and, if you hold a multiple entry visa that is still valid, re enter, or apply for a new visa. Overstaying carries heavy fines and a possible re entry ban.
You need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date, a recent passport style photo on a plain white background, and a confirmed hotel booking for your stay. If you have not booked accommodation yet, we can add a booking for a $5 fee at checkout.
Provide a recent colour photo taken within the last 6 months on a plain white background, showing your full face with a neutral expression and no other people or objects. Head coverings are only acceptable for religious reasons and must not hide the face. We validate your photo before submission so it is not rejected.
A confirmed booking covering your stay is expected, and immigration may ask where you are staying on arrival. You do not need to upload a booking to the official form, but our application asks for one; if you have none, we can arrange a qualifying booking as a $5 add on at checkout.
You do not need bank statements or proof of funds, a letter of invitation, or a confirmed onward or return ticket. A yellow fever certificate is only required if you are arriving from a country the WHO lists as at risk, which does not include the US, UK, EU, or Australia.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Saudi Arabia. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying, because the application will not be approved on a passport with insufficient validity.
Yes. Saudi Arabia's mandatory travel health insurance is bundled into your eVisa fee and covers emergency medical care during your visit, so you do not buy it separately. It does not cover trip cancellation, lost baggage, or pre existing conditions, so a supplemental travel policy is still worth considering.
Our all inclusive prices range from $209 to $279 in US dollars, with the government visa fee and mandatory insurance already included. Single entry starts at $209 for Standard processing, and multiple entry with the fastest Express processing is $279. There are no hidden charges.
Every price includes the government visa fee, the mandatory medical insurance, and our service (document and photo review, error checking, tracking, and 24/7 support). The only optional extra is a $5 hotel booking add on if you have not arranged accommodation.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, UnionPay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Charges are processed in US dollars, and if you pay with a non US card your bank applies its own exchange rate. Checkout is SSL secured and PCI compliant.
Because our price includes a paid assistance service on top of the government cost. The official portal charges only the government fee but offers no document review, error checking, or dedicated support. We are transparent that applying directly is a lower cost option for travellers who prefer to handle everything themselves.
Yes. All transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption over a PCI compliant checkout, and we do not store your full card details. Your personal and passport data are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
You choose your speed: Standard delivers in about 72 hours, Priority in about 24 hours, and Express in as little as 6 hours. Official government processing is often quick, but times can vary, so we recommend applying a few days before travel and selecting a faster option if your trip is soon.
Your approved eVisa is emailed to you as a PDF and is also available in your account. Save a copy on your phone and, as a backup, print one page to show at check in and at the immigration counter on arrival.
A printout is not strictly required because your visa is linked electronically to the immigration system, and a copy on your phone is usually enough. We still recommend carrying a printed copy in case of connectivity issues at the airport.
We monitor your application and keep you updated by email. If Saudi authorities decline it, that is usually due to inaccurate or inconsistent information, in which case you can submit a corrected application. Providing accurate details that match your passport is the best way to avoid problems.
Apply at least a few days before departure to allow a comfortable buffer. If you are travelling very soon, choose Express processing, which can return an approved eVisa in as little as 6 hours. Applying early is always the safest choice.
Around 98% of the applications we handle are approved. Saudi Arabia does not publish an official approval statistic, but for eligible nationalities who submit accurate information that matches their passport, approval is generally high and often near instant.
Yes. The Saudi tourist eVisa allows you to perform Umrah outside the annual Hajj season. Your eVisa grants entry, and you then book a free Umrah permit through the official Nusuk app before visiting the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Hajj is not covered by this visa.
Download the official Nusuk app, register, and book an Umrah permit for a specific date and time before you travel to Makkah. Under current rules a confirmed digital Nusuk permit is required for all international Umrah visitors, so arrange it in advance.
During the Hajj season, entry to Makkah is restricted to holders of a Hajj permit, and tourist visa holders cannot perform Umrah in that window. For the 1448 AH season, Umrah is available until late March 2027, after which access closes ahead of Hajj. Plan around the Hajj period if you intend to perform Umrah.
No. Hajj requires a dedicated Hajj visa arranged through official Hajj channels or approved operators, and the tourist eVisa explicitly excludes it. You can, however, perform Umrah on the tourist eVisa outside the Hajj season.
You can enter at any Saudi international airport, including Riyadh (RUH), Jeddah (JED), Dammam (DMM), and Madinah (MED). The eVisa is designed primarily for air entry, so if you plan to arrive overland or by sea, confirm that your specific visa permits that entry mode before booking.
October to March offers the most comfortable weather, with November to February the coolest and most pleasant for the holy cities, AlUla, and the cities. Summer, from June to August, is far cheaper but extremely hot, often above 40C.
No. Alcohol is illegal for everyone, tourists included, and importing, buying, or drinking it can lead to fines, detention, and deportation. Despite occasional reform headlines, no licensed venues are serving, so plan for an alcohol free trip.
Modest dress is expected for everyone, covering shoulders and knees. Non Muslim women are not required to wear an abaya or cover their hair, though a headscarf is advisable inside mosques. The male guardian system does not apply to tourists, so women can travel, stay in hotels, and move around independently.
Everyday crime is low and the main tourist areas are well managed, but conditions can change, so always check your own government's current travel advisory before you book and while you travel. Certain border regions carry official advisories against travel, though they are far from the usual tourist destinations.
The currency is the Saudi Riyal (SAR), pegged at about 3.75 to the US dollar. Cards (Visa and Mastercard), Apple Pay, and Google Pay are widely accepted in cities, though it is useful to carry some cash for taxis, markets, and rural areas. US dollars are not generally accepted for payment.
