Most non-GCC nationals need a visa to enter Saudi Arabia. If you hold a passport from one of the 66 eligible countries, you can get that visa online as an eVisa instead of visiting an embassy. If your country is not on the list, you may still qualify through a visa on arrival or need to apply at a Saudi embassy.

If your nationality is not eligible for the eVisa, you can often still visit. Holders of a valid, previously used US, UK, or Schengen visa or residence can generally get a visa on arrival, and GCC residents qualify regardless of nationality. Otherwise, you apply through a Saudi embassy or consulate.

Residents of the GCC countries, which are the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman, can obtain a Saudi visa regardless of nationality, provided they hold a valid GCC residence permit and a passport valid at least 6 months.
