Saudi Visa from the Bahamas, Approved in as Little as 6 Hours

They do, but there is no trip to a consulate. Bahamian travellers apply online for a tourist eVisa, choosing a 90-day single entry or a one-year multiple entry, and receive the approved visa by email.

There is no nonstop service. Nassau connects to Riyadh and Jeddah with one change via a US gateway such as Miami, a European hub such as London, or a Gulf hub such as Doha or Dubai. Plan for a long travel day.

It is permitted whenever Hajj is not under way. Travel in on the tourist eVisa, then secure your no-cost Umrah permit in Nusuk. Only during the Hajj season is Makkah limited to Hajj-permit holders.

The fee is charged in US dollars, and since the Bahamian dollar is pegged one to one with the US dollar, the amount is easy to gauge. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all accepted.

Saudi Arabia is about 7 hours ahead of the Bahamas in summer and 8 hours ahead in winter. Expect some jet lag on an eastbound trip.

It will not. The Kingdom states there is no bar based on prior travel history, so a previous visit to Israel does not, by the stated rules, block your Bahamian eVisa.

Just three things: a Bahamian passport with six-plus months of validity, a current white-background photo, and confirmed accommodation (add it for $5 at checkout if you have none). You will not be asked for proof of funds, an invitation, or onward tickets.

A visa per person applies to minors too, even infants on a parent's passport. Parents complete the forms and can send the whole family's at the same time.

You can enter through any Saudi port of entry, including the four main international airports, RUH, JED, DMM and MED, plus recognised land and sea borders.

Included as standard: the eVisa carries the mandatory health insurance for emergencies in the Kingdom. It will not reimburse a cancelled trip or missing luggage, which your own cover would.
