Saudi Visa FAQ for Polish Citizens
Common questions from Polish applicants
Yes. Every Polish traveller needs a visa, and it is issued online rather than at an embassy. Single entry lasts 90 days and multiple entry lasts one year, with the approved eVisa sent by email.
Yes. LOT Polish Airlines flies nonstop from Warsaw to Riyadh in about five and a half hours. Krakow, Gdansk and Wroclaw connect in one stop via Warsaw or a Gulf hub such as Doha or Dubai.
It is permitted whenever Hajj is not under way. Travel in on the tourist eVisa, then secure your no-cost Umrah permit in Nusuk. Only during the Hajj season is Makkah limited to Hajj-permit holders.
The fee is charged in US dollars, but your zloty Visa or Mastercard is accepted and billed at your bank's exchange rate. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too, so you can apply from anywhere in Poland.
Saudi Arabia is 1 hour ahead of Poland in summer and 2 hours ahead in winter, since Saudi Arabia keeps the same time all year. Jet lag is minimal.
Yes. The Polish-Lithuanian Tatars have lived in Poland and practised Islam for more than six hundred years, with historic mosques still standing in the northeast. Many Polish Muslims and curious travellers alike make the journey to Makkah for Umrah.
English is widely spoken in tourist areas and major hotels, and guides can be arranged in AlUla and larger cities. Our own application support is provided in English.
November to March offers mild, sunny weather across Riyadh, Jeddah and AlUla, a welcome escape from the Polish winter, and overlaps with Riyadh Season. Summers inland are extremely hot.
Everyday crime is low, and women travel and stay in hotels independently, with no male guardian required for tourists. Check the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs travel advisories on gov.pl for the current guidance before you book.
Not at all. Saudi Arabia's stated policy places no weight on earlier destinations, so an Israeli entry stamp in your passport is not a declared impediment for Polish citizens.
A single-entry visa permits up to 90 days on one visit inside its 90-day life. A multiple-entry visa stays valid a year and permits stays of up to 90 days each time.
You need a Polish passport valid at least six months from arrival, a recent photo on a white background from the last six months, and a hotel booking, which we can arrange for $5 at checkout. No bank statements, invitation letters or return tickets are required.
Expect $209 to $279 in US dollars depending on entry type and speed, with the government fee built in. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
For last-minute travel, Express (about six hours) or Priority (24 hours) get you sorted fast. Standard, up to 72 hours, is best when you are not rushed.
Children are not exempt: each needs their own visa. A parent or guardian applies on their behalf, and you can process the family as a single batch.
Arrive wherever suits you: the international airports at Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah all accept the eVisa, as do approved land and sea crossings.
Included as standard: the eVisa carries the mandatory health insurance for emergencies in the Kingdom. It will not reimburse a cancelled trip or missing luggage, which your own cover would.
Not the government website. We are Travel Rox, Inc., independent of Saudi authorities, and you may apply on the official portal at a lower price. Our fee funds expert review, tracking and real support.
