Saudi Visa FAQ for Turkish Citizens
Common questions from Turkish applicants
Yes. Turkish passport holders need a visa, but you apply online for a tourist eVisa with no embassy visit. Choose single entry (90-day validity) or multiple entry (valid one year), and the approved eVisa arrives by email as a printable PDF.
Yes, and they are frequent. Istanbul flies nonstop to Madinah in about three and a half hours, to Jeddah in about three and three quarter hours, and daily to Riyadh, on Turkish Airlines, Saudia, flynas, Pegasus and AJet. Sabiha Gokcen airport also serves the Kingdom.
Both work. The tourist eVisa lets you travel independently and book your permit through the official Nusuk app, while many Turkish pilgrims use a licensed operator package. Either way, the eVisa is valid for Umrah outside the Hajj season.
Yes. The fee is charged in US dollars, and your lira Visa or Mastercard is accepted and billed at your bank's exchange rate. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too, so you can apply from anywhere in Turkey.
There is none. Turkey and Saudi Arabia are both on UTC+3 all year, so there is zero time difference and no jet lag on a trip from Istanbul or Ankara.
English is standard across Saudi tourism and airports, and because Turkish pilgrim volumes are so high, Turkish-speaking guides and operators are common in Makkah and Madinah. Our own application support is in English.
October to March offers the mildest weather across Riyadh, Jeddah and AlUla, and lines up with Riyadh Season. The June to August months are extremely hot, especially inland.
Everyday crime is low, and women can travel, perform Umrah and stay in hotels independently, with no male guardian required for tourists. Modest dress is expected, and an abaya is not legally required for tourists.
Yes. On one visa you can perform Umrah in Makkah and Madinah and then explore AlUla, Jeddah's Al-Balad or the Red Sea. A multiple-entry visa also lets you return to the Kingdom again within the year.
A single-entry eVisa is valid for 90 days with up to a 90-day stay. A multiple-entry eVisa is valid for one year with up to 90 days per visit.
A Turkish passport valid at least 6 months from arrival, a recent white-background passport photo taken within the last 6 months, and a confirmed hotel booking (we can add one for $5 at checkout). No bank statements, invitation letter, or return ticket are needed.
All-inclusive prices run from $209 for single entry (Standard, 72 hours) up to $279 for multiple entry (Express, 6 hours), in US dollars with the government fees included. There are no hidden add-ons.
Choose Express and your approved eVisa can arrive in as little as 6 hours, or Priority within 24 hours. Standard (72 hours) is the value option when you book ahead.
Yes. Every traveller, including infants and minors, needs a separate application, even if the child is on a parent's passport. You can submit the whole family's applications together.
The direct Istanbul to Madinah service lands you in the city of the Prophet's Mosque, while Jeddah is the closest gateway to Makkah. Your eVisa is also valid at Riyadh (RUH) and Dammam (DMM).
Yes. The tourist eVisa covers business meetings, conferences and events, which suits the strong Turkey to Saudi Arabia trade links. It does not cover taking up paid employment, which needs a work visa.
Yes. Saudi Arabia's mandatory travel health insurance is bundled into your eVisa and covers emergency medical care during your stay. It does not cover trip cancellation or lost baggage, so a separate policy is still worth having.
No. SaudieVisa.com is a private visa-assistance service operated by Travel Rox, Inc., not affiliated with the Saudi government. You may also apply directly on the official portal at a lower cost. Our fee covers expert document review, error prevention, photo validation, tracking and dedicated support.
